In Itemized Deductions you show a figure for Real Estate Taxes that has already been included under Mortgage Interest Total. How can I correct this? It's about a $26,0

I need to change the entry but the  system will not allow me to change .

If you entered your property taxes paid along with a 1098 form for interest (reported in box 10), then you would not enter it again in the property tax section. You can edit either location. 

To edit the 1098 for a box 10 entry:

• In your open return, select My Account
• Tools
• Topic Search
• Type '1098' in the box, then select GO

To edit in the property tax location:

• In your open return, select My Account
• Tools
• Topic Search
• Type 'property tax' in the box, then select GO
