Im using the turbotax online premium edition. Im trying to find the correct palce to enter my utilities for deduction. Is there a sectoin that wil calculate the percentage of my specific utilities and enter that or do i need to calculate that percentage myself? In addition I cant find where to enter it. I looked under schedule C for the business and there is a utility section, but it specifically says not to enter home office utilities there.

If you use part of your home as a Day Care business that you report on Schedule C, you may include a Home Office as a business expense. In the Home Office section, you will indicate how much of your home is used regularly and exclusively for Day Care. TurboTax will ask you about shared expenses (like utilities) that will be allocated based on the percentage of your home that is used for your business. You can also report expenses that apply only to your Day Care business (like supplies).
