Im not sure whether I skipped over, or wasn't asked at any point of the process of which method I would like to chose to receive my refund. Would it be default if efiled?

If you filed under the same Turbo Tax account you did last year, this year it will default to what has been chosen in the past. So it if you elected for DD last year, then this year, you will have DD selected.
