Im having a problem with the child and dependent care credit i dont have any children to care for and i dont know what to do.

The Child and Dependent Care Credit is available for those who paid care expenses for an eligible individual so that they could work during the year.

It does not have to be your children. It could be anyone who you are caring for.

If you didn't pay any expenses to care for anyone then you should just skip that section.

Did you click into the childcare credit by mistake? Do you need to get rid of the form?
