Does YMCA Summer Day Camp for a Kindergarten rising to 1st grade count for Child Care Expenses? One article said yes then one article said there was an age limit?

Does YMCA Summer Day Camp for a Kindergarten rising to 1st grade count for Child Care Expenses? One article said yes then one article said there was an age limit?

If your child attended the day camp so that you could work then you can use it for the childcare credit.  You will need the EIN or Tax ID for the day camp.  Enter it in Federal?Deductions and Credits>You and Your Family>Child and Dependent Care Credit.
