I work for the railroad and have to drive to a different terminal for work because of it being slow. Can I deduct these miles?
I also cannot hold a position in my hiring terminal.

If you need to drive to a more distant terminal as a temporary assignment, expected to last less than a year, that would be deductible mileage. If it were a permanent assignment , it would not be deductible.
