If you need to add or change your foreign income follow these steps:

How to Enter Foreign Income

• Open your tax return in Turbotax

• Go to Federal Taxes

• Select Wages & Income

• Click I'll choose what I work on

• Scroll down the page to the last section Less Common Income and select Show More

• Select Start to the right of Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion

• Go through this section and enter the income that you earned abroad.

• Please note: if you received a W-2, it should be flagged as foreign income in the follow-up questions of the W-2 entry.  You need to check the box indicating that you worked outside the U.S.

I need to correct entries on form 2555 - lines 23, 24, and 26 - other foreign income and foreign earned income.

Advise how to do so as turbo tax does not allow correction.

Go back through the Foreign Earned Income section of the program to make your changes.

Enter foreign income in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to foreign income

I have done.

I need to make changes to other foreign income but turbo tax only allows changes for foreign earned income and not "other earned income" line 23

If you are using the TurboTax online editions and you did NOT enter a W-2 for the foreign sourced income, then delete the Form 2555 and start over in the Foreign Earned Income section.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Click on Tools.  Click on Delete a form
