If you have unreimbursed job-related expenses to the W-2 job you had during 2017, those expenses will get entered on Form 2106.  In order to deduct unreimbursed job-related expenses, you must itemize expenses instead of taking the standard deduction.  Plus, job-related expenses are subject to the 2% of AGI floor, meaning that only the amount that is over 2% of your adjusted gross income will be allowed to be included in your itemized expenses to deduct on your return.

Here is how to find the section to enter your job-related expenses in TurboTax:

Within your Federal Return, type "Form 2106" in the search field at the right-hand top of the screen.  Then select "Jump To Form 2106" and this will bring you to the section of TurboTax where you can enter your unreimbursed job-related expenses.
