If I work in Louisiana at my primary job and travel to Tennessee once a month for a second job, can I deduct the mileage from LA to TN?

Traveling once a month for one week to do songwriting but have a different occupation in Louisiana.

If it is a job you work as an employee and receive W-2, then it is not a deduction.

If you receive a 1099-misc and report the income as self-employment, then you can deduct it.
