The question in turbotax is did you own a home in 2025 but I sold my home in Feb of 2025 so what do I mark?

If you expect to claim mortgage interest or property taxes for the time that you owned a home in 2025, then you should mark that you did own a home in 2025. Otherwise, just answer 'no'.

Even if you change your mind as you go through your return, answering this question does not lock you into anything one way or the other.
