If I receive a property tax refund retoactive for 2 or more years how do I report it do I need to file amended returns for those years. I deducted property tax each year

I am receiving tax refund for property taxes paid in 2014, 2015, 2016.  How do I report this on  my 2017 return?  Do I need to file amended returns for 2015 and 2016?  I deducted property taxes on those returns

No, you do not amend prior years returns. You report the income in the year received, regardless of what year(s) it is for. It goes under

Less Common Income

Miscellaneous Income

Reimbursed deductions.
