If I got my 1800 child tax credit advance why am I not seeing the rest of the full 3600 credit being added. I should have 1800 more in credits.

Please check your 1040 line 28 to see the amount of the credit (which would be after the advance payments are accounted for.)

 TO CHECK IN TURBOTAX ONLINE:

Click "Tax Tools" on the LEFT SIDE BAR then click "Tools" that open below 

Click "View Tax Summary" on the screen

Click "Preview my 1040" which now appears on the LEFT SIDE BAR

 Scroll through the 1040 and look at line 28

What should it say in line 28?

It says to enter the amount from schedule 8812, $1800. 

Is it supposed to say $1800 or $3600?

Line 28 is only the remaining half of the Child Tax Credit.  Not the full amount. Did you get the Advance Child Tax Credit ?

Yup, got it figured out thank you!

I just had to adjust the numbers a little bit to see how they reacted to see what Line 28 number represented. 

It was just unusual that it wouldn't state $3600, the reduce by prepayments.
