If I file a standard deduction every year, do I need to report my state tax refund on this year's tax return?

I've never noticed it before when doing my taxes on TurboTax and want to make sure I understand why it popped up. Note: I did not receive a 1099-G.

If you used the Standard Deduction for the tax year of the state tax refund you do not report the refund on your 2024 federal tax return.

A number of states will not mail a 1099-G to you.

You are expected to log on to revenue website and retrieve it yourself.
