If I bought a used electric car in 2022, am I qualified for the electric car tax credit?

In the past, we can only get the electric car tax credit if we purchase a new one.  However, I heard we can get the credit if we purchase a used one now.  Question: If I bought a used electric car in 2022, am I qualified for the electric car tax credit?

No, the EV credit that is tied to used car purchases only applies to purchases made after January 1, 2023.  It does not apply to purchases made in 2022.
