You have not given us much information, but with two children and an income of $35,000 you could receive some earned income credit and some of the refundable "additional child tax credit."  We do not know your filing status or if you received a W-2 or if you are self-employed, or if your children have Social Security numbers, or the age of your children--all of those things matter, so no guesses as to how much your refund will be.  Prepare a tax return and see the results of entering everything.
