If child support is non taxable income, but I paid child support after taxes were taken out, can I claim my child support payments as a deductible?

My child support does not come out of my paychecks, I pay it separately after I receive my paycheck

If child support is non taxable income, but I paid child support after taxes were taken out, can I claim my child support payments as a deductible?

Child support payments are not deductible by the individual paying, nor are they included as income by the person receiving.
