I would like to deduct the mileage I spent last year for medical visits for my son but am unsure how to claim mileage

When going through the medical expenses section, you will be asked to enter total mileage for medical purposes (round trip allowed); please enter the total miles for the year (see pic)- the program will take care of the mileage deduction for you. 

1. Federal Taxes
2. Deductions and Credits
3. Scroll down to Medical, select Medical Expenses - follow the prompts; you'll be asked to enter Medical Travel Expenses
