If you're a salaried employee receiving a Form W-2 reporting your income then, unfortunately, your job-related expenses are not deductible under the new law.  Please see the TurboTax FAQ "Can employees deduct any job-related expenses?" below for more information.

However, if you're self-employed, your self-employment expenses are deductible against your self-employment income.  Please see the IRS' Ministers Audit Techniques Guide for examples of allowable and unallowable expense types.
