I was the executor and only heir of an estate, i had to pay back taxes for the mobile home , no real property, in order to sell it to handle the estate. Can I deduct
I had to fix up the mobile home , pay years of back taxes in order to sell it. I was the only heir and never took resdience in the mobile home. Can I deduct these expenses I had to pay in order to handle the estate. (total estate value was 18,000.)

Yes, once you owned the home you were responsible to pay up the back taxes so they are either deducible on the Sch A if you itemize deductions OR you can add them to the cost of selling the property.
