I was on Medical leave due to a surgery. Does this count and an intent to earn money?

Being on leave is not an intent to earn money. Did you receive some sort of disability pay? What are you trying to do?

I did receive a 1099 Misc from the Unemployment office as I was receiving Medical leave payment from the state of Oregon. After further research I did discover that "YES" I did have to mark that I receive funds with the intent to earn money. Thank you replying
