If you have a High Deductible Health Insurance plan and an HSA, you can enter that information into TurboTax.
If you spent any of the money in your HSA, you should receive a Form 1099-SA. If your contributions to your HSA was made through your employer, there should be a Code W in Box 12 of your W2. That amount is automatically transferred into the program. You can enter the Form 1099-SA and any contributions you personally made to the HSA here:
- While signed in and working in TurboTax Online 2019, click on Federal in the black menu on left.
- Click on Deduction and Credits in the upper portion of the page.
- Scroll down and click on Medical, Show More.
- Click on Start or Revisit under HSA, MSA Contributions
