I want to see if itemizing deductions is more beneficial the standard deduction

Then add in your itemized deductions.
Click on
Federal Taxes
then on
Deductions and Credits
select  "walk me through everything"
then follow the interview and enter your deductions.
When you are finished, click on Done with Deductions and then Turbotax will tell you whether itemized deductions or the standard deduction provides the best tax benefit.
