I want to input a donation, where is that in the process

Charitable donations are claimed on Schedule A - Itemized Deductions.

Keep in mind, if the total of your itemized deductions is less than your standard deduction, TurboTax will use the standard deduction and you will see no "tax benefit" from your donations.

Here are the steps to enter donations:

• While signed into your tax return, go to the Search box (upper right of program) and search "donations"
• Click the "Jump to donations" link from results
• TurboTax will guide you from there to enter your donations
