I want to claim my tool expenses how do I do that?

I tried to enter it on the site, but it is listing it as an asset as if it was my own business but it isn't

Some employee expenses may be deductible. To qualify for the deduction, only the cost of the supplies that exceeds 2 percent of your Adjusted Gross income can be deducted.

To deduct job related expenses, follow the steps below:

• Sign into Turbotax and click Take me to my return
• Select Federal Taxes.
• Select Deductions & Credits, and in the next screen, click I'll choose what I work on.
• On the Deductions & Credits choose Employment Expenses.
• Click on the Start button next to Job-Related Expenses.
