I've entered over $2,500 in charitable donations and it is not showing on my summary sheet, comparing 2015 to 2016

I have itemized all my deductions like I have every year.  This year it is giving a standard deduction and suggesting that in the future I itemize.  My itemized amounts are NOT showing on the summary sheet and the review says there are no errors.

That's because until the total of all itemized deductions exceed your standard deduction, they don't "kick in" and make any difference. However, if you want the lesser deduction you can take it. In the search box at the top right enter ITEMIZED DEDUCTIONS, CHOOSING and click the search or find button. Give it a moment, then click the "jump to" link when it appears, and you can choose from there.
