Go to the HSA interview (Deductions & Credits->HSA, MSA Contributions. The terminology may vary between versions of TurboTax.

Proceed through the interview. Eventually, you will be asked about your 1099-SA (report on money distributed out of the HSA). You will see the following screens (again, exact wording may vary):

OK, let's get this info from your 1099-SA
Let's get the numbers from your 1099-SA
Did you spend your HSA money on medical expenses only?

On this last screen, answer "No", then when the new boxes pop up, tell it whether you spent some or all on non-medical stuff, and how much.

Hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section Let's get you back to your taxes. Make sure your Internet is connected, and then select Try again or check back in a few minutes.
