I sold vacant lot in 2016. I paid property taxes on it for 11 years. Can I use it as a reduction of gain on sale or what?

I never took a deduction for any of these taxes over the years.

You can enter the taxes paid in 2016 on your 2016 tax return. You can amend your taxes for 2013, 2014, and 2015 for a refund. That is all you can do.

You won't get a tax break for entering them unless you itemized deductions in the year you paid them.
