I sold my house as owner financed. Am I supposed to report the interest I received in Interest from seller financed loans AND under installment sales?

No, report it only in one location. Report the interest using the steps below and do not enter them again.

1. Sign into your TurboTax account (online or desktop)

2. Select the Federal Taxes tab (Personal tab for other TurboTax versions)

3. Select Wages & Income (Personal Income for other versions)

4. Scroll to Interest & Dividends

5. Select Interest from Seller-Financed Loans (review and/or edit or delete)
