I retired Feb 29 2016 and sold my house May 2016. Can I change my residence in Georgia to 5 months? I lived in my RV the other 7 months. where would I change it on return

You can change your state of residence in the Personal Info tab.  Just scroll down to find what you want to change and edit to go back through that interview to pick new states and change dates.

If you sold your house in Georgia and established a residence in another state then you can file a partial year return in Georgia and a partial year return in the other state for the rest of the year.
