I rent out half my property which is open land our primary residence is on the other half. When added the Property Tax as an expense do I only add half the property tax?

In TurboTax, in the expense section it says to add up all taxes. It is not clear if I only add the % of property tax related to the rented area or do I add the full Property Tax paid?

Yes, that's correct. You should add a half of the property taxes as an expense if you only rent out half of your property.

Thank you. If I only rented it for 3 months of 2020 do I also factor that into the % of property tax. I.E. Can I only expense .25 of the half of tax?

It depends. You would need to separate out the portion of property tax that relates to the land value only. Then you will calculate 1/2 of the land tax and then prorate .25 of that calculation
