I received a w-2 for relocation expenses the company paid for, they issued the w-2 under the "old" state where I was moved out from? is this correct?
I moved from California to Nevada and the company paid for relocation expenses, they issued the w-2 to California but I was already in Nevada. Should I adjust my California state income? they paid for the taxes though.

The way they paid you is fine. You will file a part-year resident return for the state of California and enter your dates of residency so that the income will be allocated correctly.
