You enter Moving Expenses in TurboTax Premier as follows:

  • Federal Taxes >> Deductions and Credits >> Scroll down to >> Other deductions and Credits
  • Moving Expenses >> Select >> Start/Update
  • Work-Related Moving Expenses >> Select >> Yes/No
  • Tell Us About Your Move >> Fill in as appropriate >> Select >> Continue
  • Tell Us Why You Moved >> Fill in as appropriate >> Select >> Continue
  • Tell Us Your Employment Status >> Select >> Employee/Self-employed
  • Tell Us Your Work Schedule >> Select >> Yes/No
  • Tell Us Your Mileage >> Fill in as appropriate >> Select >> Continue
  • Enter Your Moving Expenses >> Fill in as appropriate >> Select >> Continue
  • Enter Reimbursed Moving Expenses >> Fill in as appropriate >> Select >> Continue
  • Your Moving Expense Deduction >> Select >> Continue >> Select >> Done
