My total child care expense was $2,415 this year. I paid for this using $2,100 from a dependent care spending account and $315 out of pocket. This happened because we had a child in September and I had no idea when she was going to be going to day care so I did not want to over fund the account and lose money. Since I do not exceed the $3,000 maximum, can I claim the $315 for the child care credit?

Yes, if you otherwise qualify. Please see this FAQ with more information: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301418. When you enter your w-2, you should reflect $2100 reported in Box 10. This box will prompt you to file the daycare expenses. When the amount of expenses exceeds the reimbursement by $315, you will be able to claim the difference on your return.
