Yes. You can claim both mortgage interests and property taxes on your federal return and include each on the state return to which they belong.

It depends, some states offer a renters credit on the state return. Here  is some information about the different state offerings for renters.

Yes. You can claim both mortgage interests and property taxes on your federal return and include each on the state return to which they belong.

Thank  you. I only rent in the state I currently live in, are there any deductions for that?
