Medical expenses are included in an itemized deduction and there are limits to what is deductible.

  • To enter your medical expenses, please click on the Federal Taxes tab, at the top.
  • Then select, Deductions and Credits
  • You may see a prompt for your medical expenses, but if not,
  • Click All Tax Breaks and then See All
  • Scroll down to Medical, by the red First Aid Kit icon, and select See More
  • Click on Revisit next to Medical Expenses.
