Property taxes can be entered in two places in TurboTax. Through a Form 1098 for mortgage interest, and in its own category.
If you entered property taxes via a 1098 form along with mortgage interest, edit the property tax amount through the mortgage interest section.
Property taxes entered via a 1098 form will still show up in the property tax section, but you can’t edit them there.
Note: They can also transfer from the Rental section if you chose to have TurboTax allocate rental and personal portions of the tax. Editing would then take place in the Rental section.
