I need a form 1116 to get a foreign tax credit and complete my taxes.

TurboTax is still saying that the IRS is working on this form (1116), and it is not available yet, but I have been able to download the form from the IRS website. How can I get TurboTax to let me include this form? ( TurboTax prices go up in 3 days ) I tried to call but I would have to leave a call back number and I live in Europe.

The forms availability list indicates the form will be available on 3/3/2022.

You will not be successful in getting the form included in TurboTax by calling the support number.

Last week this same forms list said that the form 1116 would be available on February 24. Now it says March 3. I hope this doesn’t change again. TurboTax also says that the form is not available because the IRS is still working on it. This is not true. The 2021 version of the form is available on the IRS website. Anyway thanks f-r your help. I’ll wait another week.

First and LAST time TurboTax user. The form 1116 being unavailable promptly and with repeat delays after the IRS produced it  is unacceptable. Intuit prints money by selling lousy software and poor service. What a rip

While it's true that it can take time for turbotax to program Form 1116 after the IRS releases the final version, the fact that other programs have made 1116 available and many have successfully filed their taxes (including e-filing) using other programs shows that the problem is TT.

Some of the forms on this list will not be available in TurboTax until March 31st, even though they are available from the IRS on January 1st. How can TurboTax sell software knowing that some people will not be able to use it until right before the deadline to file.?
