I’m being prompted to enter 1/1/19 mortgage balance, but I only see a field to enter 1/1/18 balance... I can’t complete review until that is done. Help!

On many form 1098 from the lender this information is not included. I would check possibly your last payment that you made in 2018 the balance due on total loan may be listed. or if you have online access with lender, you could view info needed online. the last option would be to phone your lender.
