Child support is not entered on a tax return.   You do not have to do anything.

Do you have an agreement with the other parent to be able to claim your child?  Does your child spend more than 6 months out of the year with you?  If the answer to both of these is no, then even though you pay child support, you cannot claim a deduction of any sort for your child.  So you will not add them to your return.

The custodial parent gets to claim all the credits.  Child support is not deductible and does not make it so that you can claim them.

If you do have an agreement with the other parent, The only credit you can claim as the noncustodial parent is the Child Tax Credit. In this case, you will need to Amend Your Return to add the Child Tax Credit and get the SSN from the other parent as you cannot claim the credit without the SSN.  The Amended forms are not yet available for the year.  You will then need to mail your return which will take up to 4 months to process.  Also, if the other parent already claimed the child tax credit for your child, you will not be able to claim anything.
