I'm a missionary living & working overseas. My income is based on people giving me monthly donations. Do I pay taxes on gift donations?

Gifts are not taxable income to you and donations to a specific person are not deductible by the donor.

I am also wondering, I work as a missionary in US, my home country, and people donate directly to the nonprofit organization for money to be forwarded to me. Do I claim this income?
