I'm a MD certified teacher paid via a federal grant. Work in a private center. Can I use quality teacher incentive credit for continuing ed classes?

I am a Maryland state certified teacher but I work in a private daycare center.  My job is funded through a federal grant that requires me to have a state teaching certificate.  I had to take 2 graduate classes in 2018 to renew my state teaching certificate. Am I allowed to claim the MD quality teacher incentive credit for the 2 classes I took?  (My job requires a state license).  Is the credit only available to public school teachers? Are there any exceptions?  I feel like I should be eligible to take credit given the requirements of my job.

You may be able to… as you suggest, generally, you  have to teach in a public school, but you may be eligible if you teach in a "qualified facility."
