I lived abroad for all of 2018 and got 1099 MISC for the salary I received. Turbo tax is not recognizing this foreign income.
I entered the following on the turbotax "Foreign Income" sections.
1. Did You Make Any Money Outside the United States?
Ans: Yes
2. What Form(s) Was Foreign Income Reported On?
Ans: A Form 1099-MISC or other self-employment income (This form has already been entered in previously)
3. Enter Your Gross Profit From Foreign Self-Employment
Ans: Continue without entering anything
4. Enter the Value of Employer-Provided Goods
Ans: Continue without entering anything
5. Enter the Amount Your Employer Paid You Cash For
Ans: Continue without entering anything
6. Would You Like to Try and Exclude Your Foreign Earned Income?
Ans: Yes, I want to try and exclude my foreign income
On clicking Continue, I get the following message
"No Foreign Income Has Been Entered"
Am I doing anything wrong here? Any tips appreciated here.

Please ensure that you first enter the 1099 MISC (see below) and then for question 3 you will need to enter the income again (Gross profit= income-expenses).
