I just started to work on my return and it immediately told me I had maxed out my 10K deductions before I had even input any deductions. Is anyone else having this?

Yes. This is due to the new tax law change in SALT. SALT stands for State and Locat Taxes and is limited to $10,000 on the Schedule A from line 5. See more information below:

I was advised that if I put them under the LLC, I can show all my expenses and use itemized deductions
