I just did my 2016 return and even after I put in my homeowners property taxes, the refund did not go up. I want to be sure that Turbotax included my property tax deduct?

Itemized deductions do not kick in until AFTER they exceed your standard deduction.

For a single person, the standard deduction is $6300
Married Filing Joint - $12600
