If you are an employee (you get a W-2), you don't enter your mileage anywhere. Under the tax reform law that was passed in 2017, there is no tax deduction for employee business expenses for years 2018 through 2025. A few states allow the deduction.
It depends, if you are a W-2 Employee in sales, you aren't able write-off mileage unless and exception applies like being a freelance artists or Armed Forces Reservist, etc. this may or may not apply to you. However, if you are self-employed, or work for yourself or receive a 1099NEC, 1099MISC, etc., from your sales job, then you can write-off mileage. You are unable to do so in the Deluxe Edition, but upgrading to self-employed may be a valuable savings given the mileage standard rate(s) for 2022.
To do so:
If you are self-employed and not a W2 employee :

Again, to deduct expenses and create the worksheet, it'll require an upgrade from Deluxe to Self-Employed.
After entering your business information you will see this screen:

After that display it'll welcome you to your expenses, select vehicle and make sure you have your log of miles driven for the year, because this year the rates are variable depending on date if before/on and after 7/1/2022.
