I have had my niece in kinship care since October of 2018. Can I claim foster child reimbursed expense if I came out of pocket for some of the expenses?

No, you cannot claim any expenses that were reimbursed.

This expense was not reimbursed. The issue I have is that the case started in Washington DC, and was transferred to Maryland at the beginning of 2019. Can I use it for my state taxes?
