I have been waiting a month for turbo tax to correct an issue with casualty loss appearing as a sale of business prop. when it was personal property loss due to hurricane

When will this be corrected?

I have been waiting a month for turbo tax to correct an issue with casualty loss appearing as a sale of business prop. when it was personal property loss due to hurricane

It's the user that tells the program if the casualty property is personal property or business property - that has been working correctly for many years now. Go back through the Casualty/Theft loss section of the program and make sure you select the "Personal property" button. After "personal property" is selected you then get a list of qualified Hurricane disasters, Calif wildfires, 2016 disaster areas or "not a qualified disaster". Pick the one appropriate to you.
