I had home insulation work valued at about $2,519, which according to the IRS is worth up to 30% credit. TurboTax is only letting me claim 10%. Reason?

The IRS will begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files on January 29. And….a state return cannot be accepted until after the IRS accepts your federal return.

Home Energy Credit Form 5695 is not ready yet. It still has the old amounts. It is currently scheduled to be available on 2/7/24 (subject to change).
