I got divorced last year and was awarded the house. However, my mortgage is solely in my exhusbands name. Can I still claim my mortgage interest?

Yes. You have to meet the rules, which are:

1. You are legally obligated to pay it. You meet this rule because you own the home, even though your name is not on the mortgage

2. You actually pay it.
