I filed my taxes on Jan 29th with my 4 childten. I was told tax credit was 1500 per child versus the 1000 per child that just went into effect. Do i do something?

The Child Tax Credit for tax year 2107 remains at $1,000. The increase of the CTC to $2,000 is effective with tax year 2018 and beyond.
